Thin@ is a professional Smart Client Solution for Clarion which transforms Clarion applications into SaaS Business Internet Applications.
After months in closed beta, Thin@ 2.1 is almost ready for release. This will definitely be the most feature-rich and visually stunning version of Thin@ ever.
In late September 2011 we made Thin@ 2.0 available for download. Its server-side capabilities (the ability to run 200-1000+ concurrent sessions on a single OS with a Thin@ Server installed) was the result of an unexpected breakthrough. The implications are enormous. Our customers made us realize that we need an equally powerful client side so they can unleash a visually stunning and feature-rich experience to thousands of their users.
Thin@ 2.1 is the first step towards that goal. With the help of ActiveX controls that are easily integrated with the existing application it has the power to start RIAforming a company's portfolio of Clarion desktop applications. In most cases this represents a technological leap forward of at least 10 years.

Thin@ was presented at the Clarion International Developer Conference 2011 in Orlando. Apart from the presentation, people were also able to attend to Thin@ hands-on workshops.

We have measured Thin@ 2.0 system performance and compared it to MS Remote Desktop Services 2008 (TS) system performance. Download the test results in a form of a PowerPoint presentation.
You can also download the original benchmark results that can be previewed interactively with the MMC Performance Monitor ActiveX. There are many more counters available, including page file use, disk I/O etc. To use it, unpack the archive to your C:\ folder and open the HTML file in Internet Explorer. You can then add/remove counters as you prefer.
