Java client KEY or ALERTKEY

It seems that KEY and ALERTKEY does not work in the Java client. Is this s JAVA limitation or is it envisaged that this will work.

I suspect that there are a number of different components that does not work for JAVA but that we take for granted in the normal client. Is there a list somewhere of what will probably never be supported and will most likely be supported.

Hi Chris,

The Java Client is still in beta.
This is not a Java limitiation, but a feature that is still not working in the Java client.

Most likely all standard Clarion features will work in the Java client.
There might be exceptions to this rule for things that will work only on Windows, such as ActiveX components.

Thin@ Java Client is still in beta.
We are aware of several still unsupported features (reports, edit-in-place, menus with submenus etc.), and several differences (also interpreted as bugs), e.g. problems with display of multi-line text on buttons etc.
All those will be solved for the official release.

We encourage you to provide us with things you notice that do not work.
