Thin@ Demo Applications

Thin@ Demo applications are a set of Clarion applications compiled with the Thin@ template and placed on a Thin@ Server for evaluation purposes. A Thin@ Clarion application can be accessed over the internet in two ways:

1. By the Thin@ WinApi Client (which requires to download the client and works outside of the browser).

2. By the Thin@ Java Client which does not require a download and works on any machine with the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) installed. It works either inside or outside the browser.

Note to our visitors from the USA: The default Thin@ Demo Server is located in Croatia and its IP address is thin.ris.hr. It is recommended that our USA visitors change the default Thin@ Demo server IP address to usa.thindemo.net, because that Thin@ Demo Server is located in California and should provide better connection speeds and therefore a more realistic test environment.

We recommend trying the MDB (Internet Movie Database) and the ABCBrowse applications. The Thin@ Java Client it's still in its beta stage, so that some features might not work properly.

The application uses multiple threads for iMDB scanning, which improves the scanning speed.
